Еко фестивал Узана поляна фест
The ecological festival Uzana Polyana Fest is organized by the Municipality of Gabrovo as part of the „green“ initiatives dedicated to the award „European Green List“, whose winner for 2021 is Gabrovo.
In 2022 the festival will be held July 22-24.
The Uzana Polyana Fest Ecological Festival provides an opportunity for a meeting of „green“ thinking and successful ecological models, presented in 7 zones through eco practices, interactive activities and lectures on environmental protection, healthy organic products and sustainable art initiatives.
The festival organizes a specially designated area for overnight stays with more than 150 tents.
The Farmer’s market „From BG“ offers very delicious and traditional Bulgarian food. Buying from the products of the exhibitors, you support Bulgarian farmers and producers – the true guardians of the traditional Bulgarian taste and food.
In the CRAFT’s CORNER, in addition to their works, the manufacturers share their skills in many workshops – pottery, knitting, making soaps and candles, sewing.
The ECO Bazaar is the space in Uzana Polyana Fest, where organic products are offered – not only food and supplements, but also cosmetics and various organic products. All of them with excellent quality!
The ART zone is the creative space of the festival. This is the place for the skilled people and for those who are looking for experiences, but with care of the environment. Here, visitors can create their own, as well as receive useful home and household accessories, made from recycled paper; jewelry made of glass, buttons, old clockworks; handicrafts of wool and cotton; toys made of textile, wood and love…
The CHILDREN’S CENTER is the most colorful place at the Uzana Polyana Fest. This is the place where not only children but also their parents will feel comfortable. Our mission is to help the youngest visitors of the festival to build ecological thinking. All activities in the Children’s Center aim to make our children think of a sustainable future for our planet.
The Yin / Yang Center – What is inside is also outside! Our health depends on our emotions. Here we breathe, feel and dance. Here you can participate in various types of yoga, paneurhythmy, dancing, meditation and breathing practices.
In the KNOWLEDGE zone, everyone can take his own small steps toward a sustainable lifestyle for a possible green future. Here we invite professionals and enthusiasts to share with us their formula for balancing the pursuit of development and the need to slow down. The Knowledge Space program has two lecture panels: „Green Restart“ and „Health“.
At NaZdrave zone you can treat yourselves with delicious, healthy and colorful food! Here carefully selected chefs offer a variety of dishes, salads, desserts and drinks, created with a lot of love and care for people and nature.
The challenges in the FARM meadow with competitions for accuracy, agility, resourcefulness and endurance are also very interesting; at the SCHOOL FOR MAGICIANS participants aged 1 to 101, enchanted by the magic art are the right people in this visual provocation. Dozens of visitors join the WALK to Ispolin Peak to see the unique view from the beautiful mountains.
The Municipality of Gabrovo provides ecological buses for all who wish to choose the organized transport to the festival town, and special bins are an opportunity for Uzana to have a quality separate waste collection.
Uzana Polyana Fest is all this and much more, because it brings together people from near and far to experience the three days of the festival in harmony with nature.
Uzana Polyana Fest returned in 2021 and already has its place in the event calendar of the Municipality of Gabrovo and expects its next edition in 2022.
