Chestnut Festival

Every autumn several villages – Belasitsa, Kolarovo, Samuilovo, Kamena, Yavornitsa, Kluch, Skrat and Gabrene prepare for the presentations of its stands and folklore programs. The chestnut is the symbol of the “Belasitsa” Natural Park. They are a unique green wealth of the mountain. The guests and tourists have the opportunity to explore the natural heritage, the culture and the lifestyle of the people in the area of ​​the park. Reproduction of the customs and the rituals are a small part of the Chestnut Festival.
