Every autumn several villages – Belasitsa, Kolarovo, Samuilovo, Kamena, Yavornitsa, Kluch, Skrat and Gabrene prepare for the presentations of its stands and folklore programs. The chestnut is the symbol of the “Belasitsa” Natural Park. They are a unique green wealth of the mountain. The guests and tourists have the opportunity to explore the natural heritage, the culture and the lifestyle of the people in the area of the park. Reproduction of the customs and the rituals are a small part of the Chestnut Festival.
