On 1st, 2nd and 3rd October 2017 in Botevgrad will be held “Defilator of the Brass Music“. 12 brass orchestras and 6 cheerleaders from 12 different cities will participate and take part in the upcoming three-day event.
The festival aims to demonstrate and recall the long-standing customs and traditions of this region in the field of brass music and majorette ensembles and to contribute to the development of the city as a cultural and tourist destination.
The event will bring together the cultural traditions of different social strata through songs, music and dances and will enhance the cultural heritage and communication.
The organizers of the event are the Botevgrad Municipality and the “Hristo Botev 1848” Lyceum after a winning project under Operational Program “Regional Development”. The defilator continues the twenty-year tradition, which has been the conduct of the music festival for the past two decades.
The participants in the event will appear on five different occasions places in the city, and then will deflate on five different routes to the center of Botevgrad. In the park there will be a special place called “Art Corner in the Park”. There will be shown details and specifics of the creation of the brass music and others.
