Fair of masquerade games, Sliven

The fair is held annually, with the change of the host village. The aim of the event is to stimulate the study of winter and spring masquerade rituals, to preserve and promote its local and regional specificity as a cultural heritage with its place in the contemporary cultural process. Within the framework of the fair, competitions are held for the exact reproduction of a ritual dances, awards for ritual dance, costume, mask and requisition.
