Feast of grain and bread – Alfatar

The feast is also connected with the completion of the harvest and the worship of the bread. The holiday is under the patronage of the mayor of the municipality and includes reviews, a culinary exhibition, a folklore concert program.

The celebration of grain and bread was commemorated in 2007 on the occasion of the proclamation of Alfatar as a city by the Decree of 1942 of the State Council of Bulgaria of 4 September 1974.
