The traditional Bulgarian costume will take place in the village of Negovanovtsi, Vidin, on March. Over 130 amateurs from 10 cultural centers show authentic costumes from their settlements.
Girls and women dressed in traditional costume show up in the square. They were made many years ago by mothers, grandmothers and grandparents and have the special color of Negovanovtsi, where the Bulgarian embroidery and the Vlach symbols of the garments meet.
A jury of specialists from Vidin appreciates the most interesting and authentic costumes. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third prizes. Prizes will also be awarded to the youngest and oldest participant.
