Festival of Young Artists “Days of Young Directing”, Lovech

Since 1999 in Lovech, a festival of young theater performers has been held, presenting their first professional experiences. “Young Directing Days – Lovech” is a project winning the competition for financing of original projects from the Euro-Bulgarian Art Development Fund under the PHARE program and supported by the Ministry of Culture. The main task is to collect and present the most interesting productions of the young Bulgarian directors.
The “Young Directing Days” festival is a follow-up to the Theater Stages and the Directorate Debut Review conducted in the 80s in Lovech. The “Young Directing Days” are held annually at the beginning of the theater season in Lovech.
