Fifth Folk Festival for Elders Homes "Golden Autumn", Polkovnik Savovo

The idea is of the team of the old people “Radost” in the village of Polkovnik Savovo, which is shared and financed by the municipality of Tervel. Every year the festival is under a particular title and probably in 2019 will be “With the songs of Kalinka Valcheva”. About ten groups, choirs and individual performers from elderly homes, mostly from Northern Bulgaria, take part in the festive event. The aim is to show that the third-age people living in social homes do not idle, work and have something to show their peers and young people. During the festival they exchange experience and show their achievements.
