Folklore Festival – Varbino is among the big cultural events in Dulovo Municipality. Conceived as a meeting of pensioners’ clubs from the villages of Varbino, Dulovo and Tervel in 1993 to celebrate the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising, it already exceeds the limits of the municipality. Over the years, the number of participants in the fair has grown steadily.
One of the main goals of the Varbino fair is to find, preserve and pass the songs of Dobrudja to further generations. The meeting is not of a competitive nature. Participants receive a plaque, a diploma and a cash prize.
