The folklore festival “Horo se vie kraj Timok” will be held for the first time in Bregovo. 15 ensembles have been invited for authentic and processed folklore from settlements in the municipality of Bregovo and other municipalities of Vidin district. The event is part of the 4-day program with which the border municipality will celebrate its holiday – Assumption, celebrated on August 15.
“Children’s Morning” with sports and entertaining games will be held on August 13 at 10:00. In the evening the program will continue from 20:30 with performances by the Harmony Orchestra.
The traditional fair of the town of Bregovo starts on August 14. On this occasion from 20:30 there will be an “Evening of music and fun” with the participation of Reni and Rumyana Popova. The concert program will be accompanied by a laser show.
On August 15 at 10:00 a festive liturgy will be celebrated in the local church “Assumption”, from 20:30 there will be a “Dance on the square with the wind music of Bregovo”.
