The lively village of Lilkovo organizes huge folklore festival on 17th July. Its location will be on the village’s fields. So far, 70 folklore squads have applied for participation in this event. The schedule contains not only beautiful folklore dances, but also many attractive contests, such as who will cook the best bread and banitsa.
On the spot, the locals will demonstrate how to cook Rhodope hornbeam. Тhe main specialty is cooked with cheese or meat. In the end, it roasts on sach, while put some butter.
For the guests and the locals, the festival will begin with distribution of a sacrifice, while on the village’s fields, there will be barbecue.
