The aim of the festival is to preserve for generations the rich folklore traditions, to renew and enrich our national dance and song’s cultural heritage. To popularize the work of writer Svetlozar Dimitrov (“Zmey Goryanin”). To provoke the interest of children and young people in acquiring local folklore tradition, enriching the knowledge of folklore riches. To preserve and popularize the original folklore, to strengthen the role of traditional folklore for the unification of the Bulgarian community. Let’s show the incredible Bulgarian costumes.
The winner of the festival will be awarded the special award “Zmey Goryanin”. All participants will receive a diploma and an honorary sign at the festival.
