Burgas International Film Festival ranks among the most significant events in the cultural calendar of the city of Burgas and is one of the leading film forums in Bulgaria and the Black Sea region. Since its creation in 2016, the festival has offered its viewers a rich and high-quality selection of films, presenting the latest trends in world cinema. The event is of a competitive nature in the categories “feature film” and “short film”.
Along with the competition program, Burgas Film Festival provides a platform for holding many diverse events, including animation programs for children, master classes, exhibitions, book presentations, concerts, interactive meetings between authors and the public, thus not only attracting a diverse audience, but also causes an increasing interest in the event and the region.
