Welcome from the 18th until the 22nd of April in “Nikolay Binev” Youth Theatre (Mladezhki teatar Nikolay Binev) for the First International Sofia Literature Festival for Kids and Young People. For that period of time “Nikolay Binev” Youth Theatre will be home for numerous events, author meetings, workshops and exhibitions dedicated to the literature for kids. Actors will take part in the events and they will intertwine literature with theatre.
Part of the festival guests will be: Gilles Paris (France); Linne Kobberböl (Denmark); Joss Stirling (Great Britain); Giuseppe Festa (Italy); Dora Tot (Hungary); Maya von Vogel (Germany); Turnun Lian (Norway), Maya Longgacheva; Georgi Konstantinov; Petya Alexandrova and many others.
Part of the festival events include: a workshop for writing stories – “How to write wonderful stories”; a workshop with Petya Kokudeva and Romina Beneventi; Ivan Radenkov will take part in a dramatic telling of “Frant the cat and the mysterious island”; a meeting of the Padington club and many more.
The event is part of the Cultural Program for the Bulgarian Presidency of the European Union Council in 2018.
