The National Festival of the New Year’s Song is part of the cultural calendar of the Ministry of Culture and of the Municipality of Haskovo for the year 2019 as well as part of the National Calendar of the Choral Festivals in Bulgaria. Youth Center invites some of the best Bulgarian choirs to participate in the national festival of Christmas and New Year’s Song. The choir celebration is held in mid-December and the deadline for submitting a request for participation is September. Regular Bulgarian Choral Union and Union of Bulgarian Composers participate in the competition for writing a new song related to the Christmas and New Year holidays.
