In the Yambol region, traditional Kuker games end at the end of February with the Kukerland International Masquerade Festival.
A two-day Kuker feast is taking place in the Charda village of Straldja. The Kuker groups walk around the village and bless the farmers for health and prosperity. The two day custom is to go around the houses, to enter each house to show how the fields are being processed, how they are measured and planted, and sowing and harvesting. On Sunday the square in the village recreates the whole custom. Traditionally, it will not go without stealing the bride, which contributes to great joy.
