Medieval Fair “Remember the Glory – Tuida”

In October, the Medieval Gathering “Remember the glory” will be held. The occasion is the celebration of the town of Sliven – Dimitroven, in the spirit of the old Bulgarian military tradition. The autumn gathering of military troops, which the Bulgarians carried on the day of the martyr Dimitar Mirtotochivi (Solunski). During the event, on the territory of the Tuida Fortress, participants from all over the country will recreate the life and military activity of the societies that inhabited the fortification in the period from the late antiquity to the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Visitors will be able to get an idea of ​​the countryside, the traditions, the culture, the customs, the military, and even the games of our ancestors. Again in Sliven could witness impressive demonstrations of horse riding, battles between heavily armored warriors, archery etc.
