For the first time in Sofia, the French Institute in Bulgaria invites you to the international festival of digital culture “Novembre numérique”.
The event is organized with the support of the French Institute in Paris.
Novembre Numérique aims to promote the richness of digital culture. On five continents, amateurs and professionals from France and abroad come together to program, create, play and discuss ideas related to the various forms of digital expression.
Working groups, discussions, exhibitions, puzzle games and other activities provide an opportunity to explore the various practices and challenges associated with the digital revolution, as well as to consider the upcoming changes in our societies: new forms of creativity, technology, language and education. , access to knowledge, valorization of cultural heritage.
In November, the French Institute in Bulgaria offers you the following opportunities:
– The exhibition “Bubble Machines” – welcome to the media library of the French Institute to meet the comic in electronic format! The works are viewed freely on a tablet or computer. The electronic comic presents the connection with the book in a new light and opens new perspectives for creativity.
– The event “Experiences in Virtual Reality”, including a selection from the Culture VR collection, section “Art and Cultural Heritage” of the French Institute in Paris. Discover Edward Munch’s “Alone with the Mona Lisa” and “The Cry”, “Claude Monet, the Charm of the Water Lilies” and “Paris, the Hidden Side of the Decor: Paris City, Opera Garnier, Seine, Eiffel Tower and Orsay Museum”.
– Mystery game “My little planet” – children from language courses at the French Institute will participate in an online puzzle game. The aim of this game is to offer in a fun way learning French through new technologies, as well as to acquaint children from 5 to 10 years with environmental problems.
– Workshops “Culturethèque” – thematic workshops presenting the online library Culturethèque will be organized online throughout November in the language schools in Sofia and in the language courses of the French Institute.
