The nineteenth Municipal Children’s Song Festival “The Golden Rooster” will be held in Byala Slatina. The organizers of the event are the Municipality of Byala Slatina and the “Razvitie – 1892” Chitalishte. Golden Rooster is a festival for popularizing the Bulgarian entertaining and folk song and appearances of young performers from the municipality and the region. It includes children under the age of 14 and the selection of songs is free. Mandatory rule for the participants is the songs to be singed in Bulgarian. Even artists, soloists, duets and quartets who have not won the Golden Rooster prize in previous editions of the competition are eligible for the festival.
