In 2019 the arts festival in the town of Mezdra will be held traditionally at the beginning of May and will be oriented towards the children and young people of the municipality. Right to participate in it has alumni of kindergartens, schools, chitalishte, as well as youth groups and individual performers up to 29 years of age.
The festival takes place in two days – the first day Fine Arts Day, in which the participants work in two strands: “Drawing” and “Modeling” on a given topic. The participants work in the educational institutions, the Center for Personal Development, the Kaleto and the Chitalishte in the Municipality, and the works are brought and handed over to the organizers of the festival exhibition.
The second day is a day of the performing arts, when concerts with performances of kindergarten teams from Mezdra Municipality, teams of the Center for Personal Development, school and community groups and individual participants are organized in front of the residents and guests of the city.
For the concert program, participations can be declared in three directions: personal literary creation (poetry and short prose); recite and theatrical mastery; song and dance art.
During the two festival days, the young photographers from Mezdra Municipality can photograph the events of the festival and send their pictures to the municipality.
