National Festival Rising Stars

The National Festival of Children’s and Adolescent Funny Song Rising Stars has been held since 2001, and has established itself as a prestigious field for young talents. It is a good tradition for discovery and recognition of young singers and musicians. The event entered permanently in the cultural calendar not only in the municipality of Petrich but also throughout the country. Participation includes youngsters and girls up to the age of 18, who are divided into four groups according to their age. The program of the festival gives the opportunity for young performers to show outside the competition program and children – laureates from past editions of the festival as well as participants from abroad
It is held in May and is organized by Petrich Municipality and the Rising Stars Foundation.
