National Thracian Festival “Bogorodichna Stapka”

The festival aims to preserve the Bulgarian folk traditions and customs – a source of the strength of the Bulgarian spirit and roots. Also its goal is to promote the Natural phenomenon “Bogorodichna stapka” and the rich cultural heritage in the region of Stara Zagora mineral baths.

In festival can participate:

– Groups representing the folk traditions and customs;

– Folk singing and instrumental groups;

– Dance groups and ensembles;

– Individual performers

 It is organized: 

– Children’s workshop;

– “Farmyard” – a presentation of the Bulgarian culture and traditional way of life;

– An exhibition and bazaar “Street of Crafts”, demonstrations of crafts;

– A demonstration;

– “Folk games for children”;

– An attractive place for photos;

– Exhibition of the Regional History Museum Stara Zagora;

– a visit of the natural phenomenon “Bogorodichna stapka“
