The first edition of the Night of the Samovodska charshia and the Festival of Handicrafts was in 2011. Inspiration comes from the European Night Museum initiative.
Today the Samovodska Charshia continues to keep the spirit and the traditions of the Renaissance. Nowadays there are various craft workshops – pottery, woodcarving, bakery, weapons, weaving, shekerdzinitsa, photographic, iconographic workshop, café, workshop for preparing cadavers, etc. Oven, many souvenir shops and small art galleries are placed on Samovodska charshiya square.
