The third edition of the Outdoor & White Water Fest will be held- a festival of extreme sports and active recreation in the Kresna Gorge, opens a rafting and kayaking season along the Struma River and marks the beginning of the spring. The event will take place on the weekend of March 30 and 31, and this year also will be held at Rafting Camp Adventure Net.
For the third year, water activities with a competition element will be a central part of the festival program during the day hours of the event, and in the later hours everyone will be able to have fun with a DJ party and a music scene. In 2018, the windy weather did not stop many enthusiasts from embarking on the first rafting and kayaking trips in the stormy waters of Struma, as well as engaging in various river games and races, enjoying the spring high water with friends.
This year also, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions of up-to-date topics with respected professionals from the world of extreme sports and the mountain and become part of local livelihood and customs presentations.
Along with the mood and festival spirit, Outdoor & White Water Fest aims to popularize tourism, extreme sports, active recreation and local livelihoods and local produce in front of a wide audience by stimulating the exchange of sports and tourism programs between clubs and tour operators from Bulgaria and neighboring countries.
