In the first part of November in Tran is held a Potato Festival. It is organized in Friday, because this is the market day (old tradition).
The leading companies for producing of potatoes and import will introduce the new techniques in this business. The experts will provide information about the process of growing potatoes, the diseases and the most appropriate preparations for treating the plants.
There will be different dishes – potato cake, potato rabbits, home-made chips and many more.
In the afternoon the program continues with a music performances.
