Children’s Week by the Sea attracts curious kids and their parents with its art centers located in the town of Chernomorets. Many emotions, pleasant meetings and useful activities accompany the Children’s Week by the sea, which is held for the 7th year in Sozopol and for the 6th year in the town of Chernomorets. According to the organizers of the event, the first participants – the young residents of Sozopol and their peers – guests of the city, are already high school students. However, they continue to look for the emotion and inspiration of the creative workshops of the most attractive and intriguing week by the sea.
Parties are organized in the Applied Arts Center and in the “I workshop”, where there is a special place for parents, grandparents. They can make something with their own hands, without helping their children and without the children helping them. What is important is not the aesthetic value of the work, but to experience the emotion to create, to be spontaneous and bold in breaking the clichés and to awaken the child in themselves.
A novelty in the “Children’s Week by the Sea” is the project “We take care of nature together”. Recycled materials are used, the attitude of children towards environmental protection is discussed.
There is a specially made tree on which children and their companions can write and hang their wishes. The “tree of desires” helps to fulfill the most intimate thoughts.
