The fourth edition of the Student Video Art Festival Shumen 2017 will be opened on October 24, 2017 (Tuesday) at the Art Gallery “Universitetska” of the Pedagogical Faculty of the Konstantin Preslavski University of Shumen. The festival is organized by the Department of Visual arts. 
This year, in the festival participate students and professors from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul, Veliko Tarnovo University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius “, Kojzali University in Izmit, Shumen University and others.
On October 24th, the fourth SVAF will open with a special selection from the Varna “Quarantine” Film Festival, prepared by one of its curators Tsvetan Krastev. The rest of the program will feature selected productions of all participating universities.
The students will take part in a creative workshop under the slogan “Repeat All” supported by mentors Viktor Petkov, Georgi Krastev, Valya Andonova and others.
The SVAF is organized with the support of Rector of the Konstantin Preslavski University and Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty.
The awards for the competition part of the festival have been provided by patrons from the Netherlands and Switzerland. The award ceremony will take place on October 27, 2017 (Friday) at 11.00 am at the Art Gallery “Universitetska”.
Curator of the fourth edition of Student Video Art Festival Shumen 2017 is Prof. Valeri Chakalov.
