The Bread Festival is held every year on October 16 – World Food and Bread Day. The festival is held in Strazhitsa, the birth town of Angel Karaliychev – bulgarian author of fairy tales for children
Several contests are held within the framework of the event: “No one is bigger than the bread”, the song “Crank on the megdan”, demonstrations of the wrestling club “Food makes the fight”. Winners receive certificates and awards. And this year, the mayor of Strazhitsa will have his own breadcrumb, which guests can taste.
