The Jury of the Balkan Euro Folk – Live Water 2019 Folklore Championship uses the evaluation system of the European Association of Folklore Festivals – EAFF and the World Association of Folklore Festivals – WAFF. The evaluations of the teams that appeared in the competition program of the Balkan Euro Folk – Jiva Water 2019 Folklore Championship are valid for ranking in the World rank list /World ranking list of folklore/. The concerts of the Balkan Euro Folk – Jiva Water Folklore Championship will be broadcasted live on the World Internet TV “EuroFolkTV” at: tv.eurofolk.com
Formations that can take part in the competition:
• folklore ensembles;
• folk singing and dance groups;
• choirs;
• folk dance clubs;
• groups for old urban songs;
• brass and folk orchestras;
• individual performers and duets;
ЖThe jury evaluates the following 3 criteria:
1. Level of complexity and performance technique
2. Presentation / costumes, requisition, production, selection of repertoire/
3. Stage behavior / scene behavior, public contact, broadcasting, artistry/
The winner of the Grand Prix “Euro Folk 2019” – Grand Prix Gold “Orpheus”, Gold Medal and Diploma for Absolute Balkan Champion of Folklore for 2019 also receives a monetary bonus of 1000 Euros.
The cash prize is provided by the municipality of Hissarya.
At the discretion of the jury, the “Orpheus” nomination is awarded, which gives the right to participate in the Grand Prix Gold “Orpheus”. The gold medals are awarded to the champions, and silver and bronze medals for second and third place. The prize winners are awarded awards for the laureates and a diploma for the Balkan champion of folklore for 2019 in the respective category.
Individual gold, silver and bronze medals with the corresponding diplomas may be awarded in the individual categories.
The jury rewards the best performers with a recommendation to participate in the European or World Championship of Folklore.
All participants receive Diplomas and Subject Awards.
