In 2019, Varna State Opera organizes the 10th edition of the Summer Opera Theater, a cultural tradition, strengthening the image of the city as an international opera destination. This year, the guests of Varna and the guests of the city will have the opportunity to enjoy opera masterpieces and soloists of the highest rank in the romantic atmosphere of the Summer Theater. With the support of the Municipality of Varna, 7 events Opera Summer Theater are included in the program of the International Music Festival “Varna Summer” 2019 – three opera performances of these two premieres, two premieres of musicals and two concerts, one of which will be ballet.
World opera prima Alexandrina Pendatchanska will be the star in the opera “Tosca” by Puccini (18 July). Immediately after a series of appearances in Italy, she will also present to Varna this bravado and relatively new role in her repertoire. In the role of Kavaradosi we will be applaud the magnificent Kamen Chanev – also one of the many Bulgarian opera singers. “Tosca” will definitely be an exceptional experience.
