The Jury of the European Folklore Championship “Euro Folk 2019” uses the evaluation system of the European Association of Folklore Festivals – EAFF and the World Association of Folklore Festivals – WAFF.
The evaluations of the teams that appeared in the competition program of the Euro Folk 2019 European Championship of Folklore are valid for the World Ranking List of Folklore.
folklore ensembles;
folk singing and dance groups;
choirs;
folk dance clubs;
groups for old urban songs;
brass and folk orchestras;
individual performers and duets;
The jury evaluates on the following 3 criteria:
1.Level of complexity and performance technique
2. Presentation / costumes, requisition, production, selection of repertoire /
3. Stage behavior / scene behavior, contact with the audience, broadcasting, artistic /
The evaluations of the teams that appeared in the competition of the Euro Folk 2019 European Championship are valid for ranking in the World Ranking List/.
At the discretion of the jury, the “Orpheus” nomination is awarded, which gives the right to participate in the Grand Prix “Orpheus”
The gold medals are awarded to the champions, and silver and bronze medals for second and third place. Winners receive certificates for laureates and a diploma for the European champion of folklore for 2019 in the each category.
Individual gold, silver and bronze medals with the corresponding diplomas may be awarded in the individual categories.
The jury rewards the best performers with a recommendation to participate in the World Championship of Folklore.
All participants receive, Diplomas and Subject Awards.
