Varna residents and the guests of the town will have the opportunity to see this year’s diversity of several ethnic groups inhabiting neighboring countries. On the weekend, on July 8 and 9, the National Ethnic Festival will be held.
The first edition of the festival was held in 2004. It is held annually and aims at acquaintance, enrichment and popularization of the ethno-folklore folk music in Bulgaria. The representatives of the different ethnic communities in Bulgaria are acquainted and present their unique culture as part of the Bulgarian folklore richness. The idea is to show respect and care for the different parts of the citizens by popularizing their musical culture. Participation is unrestricted.
