Mini Art Fest 7

Mini Art Fest 7 from 16 to 26 June 2017 in Sofia.

Mini Art Fest is a festival of circus arts and multi genre platform for contemporary arts and design. This year the focus is on social projects, social circus, recycling art and alternative sports, unicycle, slackline and parkour.
MAF is an urban festival, whose philosophy is to transform everyday situations and places into extraordinary. The festival is held each year showing and presenting national and international circus artists, drawers, designers and animators to the unlimited borders of creativity, the known and unknown spaces around us, and to join the new thinking and acting through art. Presenting and sharing different advanced communication forms to the life in the city.
The summer 2017 the festival will be held from 16 to 26 June. Open air stage on “Vitosha Boulevard, performance Halls at Fabrica 126 and NDK- National palace of culture DNK- space of contemporary dance and performances.
The call is open for Circus artists, Theater and Film directors, Painters, Illustrators, Animators, Musicians and Performers, Designers, Dancers and other artists.

Applicants can send their proposals electronically on the website of the festival until March 17, 2017 they will be selected into the festival program by the team of the festival: Geo Kalev, Luisa Dushkova, Galina Ryom-Røjbek, Teodor Borisov, Aline and Stefan Plachkovi.
Mini Art Fest present the award “Golden Ant” for the best circus artist or circus project from Mini Art Fest 7, it is established in design by Chudomir Dragnev (Looneytools).
