On October 16, 2013 the American band Pink Martini will come to Sofia to present their new album Get Happy.
For more than 20 years Pink Martini creates life-asserting, communicative and positive music that has been amusing, entertaining and inspiring music lovers from all over the world. The American band is famous for the engaging mix of classical, jazz, lounge, pop and latino elements in their performances.
Pink Martini are famous with their ability to make people dance from the very first sound.
In 1994, Thomas Lauderdale built his political career. But instead of this, he made a music band. He was tired of politics and he wanted to create something positive and attractive. He gathered a small band orchestra and made beautiful music.
Today this band he calls Pink Martini, he makes World tours and perform spectacular events.
The emotional charge of Pink Martini’s performance will be complemented by the romance of the 30s, the sweet nostalgia for a bygone era as well as by their universal message, touching everyone present and making the audience dance and smile.
